Description
Through lecture, group activities, and discussion participants’ will be introduced to the fundamental knowledge and terminology necessary to provide competent and ethical supervision. A generic structure for supervision, the role of the supervisor, and the impact of the supervisory relationship will be discussed. Participants’ will be provided with psychotherapy-based, developmental, and social role models of supervision.

- Participants will be able to identify the purpose of clinical supervision.
- Participants will be able to explain how the various models and frameworks for supervision can apply to supervision sessions.
- Participants will demonstrate the application of theory and skills to clinical supervision.
